Simulating the Rheology of Red Blood Cells

In some medical applications/measurements, it is desired for safety reasons to have a non biological fluid that has rheological properties comparable to blood.

The objectives of the project are to develop a blood analog, and more specifically red blood cell analog, and to create a system to assess the suitability (from a rheological point of view) of the blood analog.
