Generation Sketch Examples
GENERAL NOTES ABOUT THE PROVIDED EXAMPLES:
a) If the above example concept
generation sketch example links are broken, they were removed due to the
current semester’s project being too similar in scope; in that case, please reference
the printed report examples in the lab instead during office hours or any lab
periods
b) The examples are
provided to show the level of detail required and the diversity with which you
can present your sketches
c)
Do NOT copy drawing elements from the provided examples;
your conceptual design sketches should be your original work, not copied from others
d) Focus on trying to show
as much detail as possible as clearly as possible, and the rest of the details
will work themselves out
e) The requirements stated
in the current version of the DRT
take precedence over anything you see in these provided examples

Before Design Report 2
1.
Read Tips for Working Effectively in a Group thoroughly
2. Individually print and
use the REQUIRED Project
Meeting Template for every group meeting to avoid future
problems (these must be submitted in design reports 2, 3 and 4)
3. Familiarize yourself
with the Interim
Peer Evaluation each team fills out if a group member is routinely
underperforming, it’s honestly and respectfully discussed as a team, and the
member’s behavior does not improve
