- Title of project: Control and optimization for multi-agent systems
- Funding Agency:
- Description: This is an open-ended position for
research in multi-agent systems, including multi-robot systems, with
emphasis on designing and implementing distributed control and
optimization algorithms. Ongoing research includes work in: networked
coordination under asynchronous information sharing, distributed control
and optimization under information privacy requirements,
graph-theoretic analyses in multi-agent systems, cloud-based control of
systems, and swarming behaviors in ground and aerial robot teams.
- Restrictions/Constraints: US citizenship or Green card is preferred
- Knowledge and skills Needed: A successful candidate
will have a strong background in control theory and should feel
comfortable with rigorous mathematical thinking. A programming
background, especially in MATLAB, Python, or C/C++, is expected.
Additional experience in hands-on robotics or embedded programming is
desired.
- How to apply: Email Dr. Hale with a complete CV
(including awards, standardized test scores, and references who can
comment on your past work), and a brief description of why you would be a
good fit.
