MEMS TRANSDUCER DEVELOPMENT FOR FLUID MECHANICS AND ACOUSTICS APPLICATIONS

  • Title of project: MEMS TRANSDUCER DEVELOPMENT FOR FLUID MECHANICS AND ACOUSTICS APPLICATIONS
  • Funding agency (Optional):
  • Description: There are several openings in the design, fabrication, packaging and testing of micromachined sensors and actuators for various applications ranging from low-speed turbulence measurements to high-temperature hypersonic flows to aeroacoustic directional microphone arrays.
  • Restrictions/Constraints: US citizen or green card holder
  • Knowledge and skills needed: Candidates should have a strong academic background and hands-on skills. This work is highly interdisciplinary, so a willingness to take courses in electrical engineering is required.
  • How to apply: Send a detailed CV to Dr. Sheplak
