Biography

Mike has spent 38 years in the large Power Generation business focused on the Design, Manufacture and Service of Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines, and Electrical Generators.  Mike started his career with Westinghouse Electric after graduating from the University of Florida with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Early years were focused on the Mechanical Design of Rotors & Blading of Steam Turbines along with complete system analyses for Torsional and Differential Expansion response.  Mid-career was focused on leading teams responsible for the engineering and implementation of the Service and Repair of Steam Turbines and Gas Turbines including high temperature combustion systems and blading.   Siemens and Westinghouse merged to ultimately form the current Siemens Energy Company.  Mike spent the last 12 years of his career leading a global multicultural organization responsible for Long Term Service Programs and Modernization Projects for worldwide Power Plant owners.

Mike currently resides in Orlando, FL with his wife, Anne (a fellow Gator grad – 1985), where they raised 2 children, Sarah & Stephen.  In his spare time Mike enjoys working with Habitat for Humanity, mountain biking, motorcycling and golfing.
