Professor Banks has been active in orthopaedic and joint mechanics research his entire career. Alexander Benvenuti received his BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Florida in 2021, and started his PhD under the advisement of Dr. Matthew Hale in 2022. In August 2024, he was awarded an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. He received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2026.
