Ben Crosbie is a student assistant for the MAE marcom and facilities teams. A third-year journalism major, he conducts interviews and writes stories about research breakthroughs, faculty highlights, student groups, alumni achievements, and more for the department’s website. On the facilities side, he can be found moving furniture, delivering mail, putting codes in door keypads, and trying in vain to parallel park a Ford F-150.

Ben graduated high school at the International School Nido de Aguilas in Santiago, Chile, before coming to UF in 2020. He started working for MAE in March 2021 and joined the marcom team in May 2022. He also contributes to the Independent Florida Alligator and WUFT News, works as a resident assistant for UF Housing & Residence Life, and plays on the club ultimate frisbee team.
