Biographies

Stacy Evans

Stacey Evans is a forward-thinking HR professional with expertise in building Talent Acquisition functions from the ground up and aligning TA priorities with bottom-line business objectives. Accomplished in strengthening the visibility and role of the Talent Acquisition function among senior-level decision -makers to deliver key cost savings, enhance processes, and attract top talent. Stacey is effective at managing projects in multiple locations and responding quickly to meet rapid change. She has a reputation for being a strategic thinker, articulate communicator and highly committed to attaining shared goals.

Stacey began her career as a recruiter for KPMG and then continued her career at Revlon in NYC where she became Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager. From there she moved to Atlanta where she was a lead recruiter at Coca Cola Enterprises. At Coca Cola Enterprises she was responsible for leading recruitment efforts for Finance & Accounting, Legal, HR and Sales for North America while leading a team.  

Stacey joined Southern Company Gas in 2011, where she served as the consultant for Engineering, Construction Operations, Legal, Human Resources, Regulatory, Safety, Finance and Field Operations.

In her current role, Stacey leverages her experience and passion for attracting and retaining top talent. She serves as a consultant to her client base regarding specific recruiting plans and retention strategies.

A native of New York City, Stacey attended Florida A & M University. Stacey heavily participates with Solomon’s Temple which is a shelter for homeless women teaching them how to interview and apply for positions.

Stacey has a daughter and grandson and resides in Atlanta, GA.

Judge Gardner III

Judge Gardner III is a leader of people, effective communicator and utility engineer with over 12 years of experience in all phases of project & budgetary management, construction and engineering design. Possessing a proven ability to manage and motivate diverse teams across generational gaps while producing consistently profitable results.

Judge began his career as a project engineer at an engineering consulting firm based in Chicago, IL. There he designed and managed various land development engineering and construction projects for the Chicago Public Schools; Public Building Commission of Chicago and Illinois Department of Transportation.

Judge joined Nicor Gas in 2013, as an Engineer, System Planning & Engineering, where he evaluated distribution and transmission pipelines, developed recommendations for pipeline system improvements and supported various operating units in emergency response. In that time, Judge has held roles of increasing responsibility as a supervisor in Field Operations and System Operations in various regions. In these roles, he supervised field personnel in the successful operation and maintenance of the natural gas distribution infrastructure.

In his current role, Judge leverages his field experience and passion for safety as Manager of Corporate Safety, leading a team of field safety specialists who ensure that Nicor Gas employees and customers utilize natural gas safely.

A native of Chicago, Illinois, Judge earned a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a current fellow in the Corporate Inclusion Institute sponsored by Chicago United and active with his local church, National Society of Black Engineers, United Way and American Association of Blacks in Energy

Judge and his wife have one daughter and reside in Oak Lawn, IL.
