About

The Engineering Ambassadors serve as the liaisons between the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering and its students: past, current, and prospective. Through tours and annual outreach initiatives, we serve our college and community, embrace new and diverse perspectives, empower our members to become future industry leaders, and inspire the future of Gator Engineering. In addition to providing regular campus tours, the Engineering Ambassadors host several events to teach others about UF Engineering and give back to the community. These events include a series of lectures given by respected UF professors, county-wide service projects, and the Gator Engineering Experience Day.

Our goal is to make becoming an engineering major as accessible as possible and to share our experiences at UF with others. To find more information about any of these initiatives, visit the Engineering Ambassadors website. If you love Gator Engineering and want to share that passion with new and existing students, then EA is for you! Applications to become an Engineering Ambassador open at the end of every fall semester, and close in early spring. Eligible members must be enrolled in an engineering major at UF, actively be involved in an engineering student organization, and maintain a 3.0 GPA. We’d love to meet you at one of our recruitment events!
