Adopted at UF in 1958, the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is a welcoming community that offers both enrichment and encouragement, where we can strive towards our goals as engineers. It serves to offer several opportunities for new friendships and professional development, so that our members can harness the skills and confidence they need to become their best selves.

As a part of SWE, our section members are involved in mentoring programs, career fairs, outreach volunteering events, fun socials, design teams, and much more. Through our work and dedication, we make it our goal to continue to develop our leadership and practical experience, allowing us to pursue promising careers as successful women in engineering. We welcome you at any stage in your undergraduate years to join us!
