About
SASE is dedicated to the advancement of Asian heritage scientists and engineers in education and employment so that they can achieve their full career potential. In addition to professional development, SASE also encourages members to contribute to the enhancement of the communities in which they live. We promote this enhancement by fostering professional development, diversity, and service within the community.
Anybody, regardless of identity, background, and major, is welcome to join and attend our events. Throughout the year we hold General Body Meetings discussing topics such as personal branding, virtual job hunting, navigating career fairs, and many more. We also organize company information sessions, resume workshops, mock interviews, technical workshops, service events, and study rooms for our members to use. Active members are eligible to add to our resume pool and become a part of our alumni network.
Regional Conference Committee – In charge of organizing the 2020-2021 regional conference for 24 SASE chapters within the southern US, providing a platform for more than 400 college students to interface with companies, network, and develop their professional skills.
SASE Interns – Our new members committee where you gain leadership opportunities and event planning skills while working closely with our current board members.
Fundraising Committee – Puts on annual events to support both our organization and local charities.
Website Development Team – Manages the content, scripts/plugins, and user experience that companies see and use on our official website.
